Ahead of its time? Maybe…Great film? Not really.  Good yes, but not great. 
The premise is very simple, but it is more than a fight to get out of a box; this movie is clearly aimed to uncover the human psyche as well as tell the story of people trapped. 

Did it work? YES!  It really shows how each person acts and thinks differently in the same environment and situation.  We explore this strange cube not knowing what is in the room next door, but it’s amazing what can happen with nothing but white walls. From Director Vincenzo Natali and Maurice Dean Wint leading a good cast, this movie is one that will sit on a shelf collecting dust, only because it’s just one of those films! Borrow this one or not!
